Rene Casilli is a Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist and seasoned litigator with more than 15 years of experience representing self-insured employers, insurance carriers, and public entities. As a partner at Defense Advocacy Law Firm, Rene brings expertise in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense—from strategic case development to complex litigation.

 

Throughout her career, Rene has built a reputation for thoughtful advocacy, persuasive writing, and successful resolution of cases. She has served as a Workers’ Compensation Administrative Law Judge, giving her a unique judicial perspective that informs her legal strategy and trial preparation.

 

Before joining the firm, Rene held senior positions at leading defense firms throughout California and practiced before both administrative and civil courts. She earned her J.D. from Empire College School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review, and holds a B.A. in English from Sonoma State University.
